The developers at Digital Extremes have announced that Isleweaver, Warframe’s next major expansion, launches globally on June 25 for all platforms.
Veterans who’ve completed the ‘Warframe: 1999 – The Hex’ storyline gain access to an expanded Duviri region. This updated zone reintroduces Major Rusalka alongside new adversaries like The Murmir and the mysterious entity called The Indifference. Explorers can gather scattered chronicle shards to uncover hidden lore, traverse the uncharted Scholar’s Landing island, and challenge the latest Warframe, Oraxia, in strategic confrontations.
Isleweaver’s Operation: Eight Claw tasks clans with collaborating with Dominus Thrax to retake strategic positions from enemy forces. Participants can unlock event-exclusive gear and previously retired clan rewards until July 16. Scattered archival records throughout Duviri reveal deeper insights into Rusalka’s motivations and the kingdom’s fractured state.
Oraxia becomes the game’s 61st Warframe, specializing in psychological warfare through abilities that exploit enemy fears. Her toolkit includes executing debilitated targets, spreading toxic effects, and conjuring spider-like minions from slain foes. Accompanying her debut are the Scyotid venom-spike projector and the Spinnerex toxin-lash whip.
New cosmetic collections debut alongside the update, featuring the Citrine Aphrodita Deluxe Skin set with gemstone-inspired armor and accessories. Community-designed TennoGen items also arrive, offering fresh customization options for Warframes, weapons, and Operators.
Isleweaver introduces quality-of-life enhancements for newcomers, including redesigned introductory missions and improved tutorial elements. Veterans can experiment with Valkyr’s reworked ability system, now optimized for rapid melee combat and enhanced mobility to match her ferocious theme.
Additional expansions will be unveiled during TennoCon 2024, scheduled for July 18-19 in London, Ontario. This milestone event marks the tenth anniversary of Warframe’s dedicated fan convention.
