Set to arrive on September 25, 2025, Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds will launch across multiple platforms, including Nintendo Switch, at $59.99 (£54.99). A Switch 2 iteration has also been confirmed for future release, priced higher at $69.99 (£64.99), with upgrade options planned for existing Switch owners.

A freshly unveiled trailer highlights the game’s fast-paced gameplay, coinciding with these announcements. The character lineup now features crossover stars such as Hatsune Miku, Yakuza protagonist Ichiban Kasuga (Yakuza: Like A Dragon), and Persona’s Joker. Minecraft’s Steve, Alex, and Creeper will join via downloadable content included in the Season Pass.

Available pre-order options include a Digital Deluxe Edition ($79.99/£69.99) containing extra Sonic Prime content and the Season Pass, alongside a $249.99 physical Collector’s Edition from Limited Run Games.
