Arrowhead Games has confirmed Helldivers 2, once exclusive to PlayStation consoles, will arrive on Xbox Series X/S starting August 26th, 2025. The expansion aims to unite players across platforms in the battle for intergalactic liberty.

Johan Pilestedt, Arrowhead’s creative lead, unveiled the news via a digital showcase, emphasizing player demands for cross-platform support. A cinematic trailer highlighted Xbox integration, with Pilestedt stating that broadening the game’s availability would strengthen the “collective defense of democracy.”

Pre-orders for the Xbox version are now available, though the title won’t debut on Xbox Game Pass at launch. The studio reaffirmed its commitment to ongoing content updates, ensuring parity across all platforms.
