Among early significant tasks, the Sentinel’s Mission challenges participants to overcome the Void Apostle—a guardian of the Chronotector’s Movement. Vanquishing this entity remains the sole method to retrieve the artifact.

Locating the Chrono Gate proves particularly troublesome during this quest. With minimal guidance provided, navigating toward this portal requires careful exploration. This walkthrough outlines the necessary steps to access the gateway and advance the objective.

Accessing the Chrono Gate in the Sentinel’s Mission 

After activating the Sentinel’s Mission, utilize the Citadel’s fast-travel mechanism via the altar (‘E’ key interaction). Select the Brackley Altar destination within the First Breath Hill region to initiate transportation.

Upon arrival, progress northeast beyond the Abandoned Farm. Follow the adjacent watercourse westward until encountering a cascading waterfall. Adjacent to this landmark lies a cavern entrance on the right side.

Proceed through the cave’s interior until reaching its terminus. A crimson illumination signals the Chrono Gate’s position. Engage the ‘E’ key when prompted to traverse the portal and confront the Void Apostle.
