Gearbox Software’s highly anticipated Borderlands 4 is now open for pre-purchase across platforms, with its final pricing details officially unveiled today. The title remains scheduled for a September 12 release on PC and current-gen consoles.
A recent announcement revealed the Standard Edition will carry a $69.99 price tag in North America for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC versions. Earlier rumors hinted at a potential $80 base cost following statements from studio leadership, but recent updates clarified this speculation.
Two premium editions were detailed alongside the standard version. The $99.99 Deluxe Edition bundles the Lootmaster’s Cache containing four DLC expansions with fresh zones, narrative content, and exclusive adversaries; challenge-driven Vault Cards offering gear unlocks; customizable ride options; and cosmetic items including the Phoenix Ignition weapon skin. Priced at $129.99, the Ultimate Edition adds the Vanguard Package featuring two narrative expansions with original playable characters, side quests, additional explorable territories, and expanded cosmetic customization options.
Developers confirmed Borderlands 4 will launch simultaneously on NVIDIA’s GeForce NOW streaming platform alongside traditional platforms this September.
