Nintendo’s latest console has launched alongside Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, but Microsoft hasn’t confirmed titles beyond Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 for the platform. Activision reiterated its ongoing collaboration with Xbox to deliver the franchise to Nintendo hardware.
After the Switch logo’s absence from Black Ops 7 marketing materials, Activision told IGN that development efforts continue. The company stated:
“We’re committed to getting the franchise on Switch. Both teams are working on it. Will share details when ready.”
While no specific Switch model was named, industry analysts speculate the focus lies on Nintendo’s upgraded system. The original Switch’s technical constraints make native ports challenging, suggesting potential cloud-based solutions or visual compromises for the franchise’s Nintendo debut.
Black Ops 7 will release across previous-gen and current consoles, including Xbox One, Series X/S, PlayStation systems, and PC. Further updates regarding Nintendo platforms are expected later.
