The Xbox Games Showcase 2025 is quickly approaching on June 8th, but another significant event has now been announced: Xbox has officially joined this year’s Summer Game Fest as a partner.

Summer Game Fest (SGF) has become the go-to event for many following E3’s decline, organized each summer by Geoff Keighley, the host of The Game Awards. This year, Summer Game Fest kicks off with a showcase on June 6th, followed by an industry event over the weekend, offering early looks and impressions of upcoming games.

Microsoft might hold many major announcements for its own showcase, but given the extensive content production from Team Green, there’s a high chance some reveals or teasers will occur at Summer Game Fest 2025 before the main event.
