Xbox game ports are in development for the Nintendo Switch 2, with their announcement expected soon, according to a recent report.
Tom Warren from The Verge mentioned in a recent article about Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II Enhanced launching on PlayStation 5 this Summer that Microsoft is preparing Xbox ports for Nintendo Switch 2, which are anticipated to be announced shortly. Additionally, NateTheHate confirmed the same on X, suggesting we might see the first ports revealed in the coming weeks during the off-E3 period.

Given Microsoft’s prior release of Xbox games on the original Nintendo Switch, including Sea of Thieves and Grounded, it makes sense that more titles are heading to the next-gen Switch. While it’s unclear which games will arrive, Halo: The Master Chief Collection and Microsoft Flight Simulator have been speculated. Running Flight Simulator on Switch 2 would be technically intriguing, as it’s a demanding game, but if Asobo Studio managed it on Xbox Series S, adapting it for Switch 2, potentially better than expected, as seen with Cyberpunk 2077’s performance, seems plausible.
