Thunderful Games and its development team To The Sky have unveiled Godbreakers, a cooperative action RPG for up to four players, slated for release on PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store in late 2025. A downloadable preview is now accessible on Steam, offering an early look at its frenetic combat.
In Godbreakers, players face Monad—a rogue artificial intelligence commanding armies of biomechanical foes. A core mechanic involves stealing adversaries’ unique abilities during battle, using their own strengths to dismantle the encroaching threat.
Gameplay footage highlights agility as a survival tool, with reactive dodging and pattern recognition proving vital, especially when tackling missions solo. The trailer emphasizes explosive combos and environmental traversal reminiscent of character-action titles.
“Our studio’s debut project prioritizes kinetic movement and collaborative mayhem,” stated To The Sky’s CEO Jugo Mirkovic. “Drawing from our team’s combined experience, we’ve focused on crafting responsive controls and visually dazzling encounters that reward strategic teamwork.”
While an exact launch date remains unconfirmed, the availability of a playable demo suggests development is nearing completion. Thunderful Games anticipates sharing additional updates, including regional pricing and post-launch content plans, in coming months.
