Increasingly, videos of individuals receiving their Switch 2 units early are surfacing online, and the latest one is likely the most comprehensive look at the system and its interface.

In fact, the same individual who shared the unboxing and boot screen has now released a video showcasing the Nintendo Switch 2’s start-up screens, setup process, and system settings. Special thanks to reader Zuljaras for bringing this to our attention!

A user, identified as popsculture2, obtained a Switch 2 today, and in an 11-minute video, they demonstrate various functionalities, revealing more options compared to the previous model.

We won’t delve deeply into the video here, but it’s important to note that many of these features have been gradually disclosed by Nintendo since the console’s reveal in April.

Of significance is the confirmation regarding the “missing update.” Attempting to download games from the library resulted in a prompt to update the console, despite it being on the latest version. The speculated patch, which would enable compatibility with previous console games, isn’t yet active.

It appears we can expect continued leaks leading up to the console’s release on June 5, 2025.Fortunately, only about a week remains until we can experience the console firsthand.
