The release date for Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time on Switch 2 has been disclosed by Level-5 — it’s coming up very soon, specifically on June 5th, 2025, the same day as the console’s launch.
A number of you might already be playing on Switch, as it launched on May 21st. But don’t worry, upgrading your Switch version to Switch 2 will cost just USD $2.59 / EUR €2.27 (or regional equivalent).
If you’ve been waiting for the Switch 2 release, Level-5 states the price is similar to the Switch 1 plus upgrade path — USD $62.58 / EUR €62.26. We’ll notify when the eShop page becomes available.
Since its release, the game has been a big success, and the Switch 2 version aims to address many minor issues present in the current Switch 1 release. Level-5 has provided details and some comparison images on their website:
