Stellar Blade 1.3.0 Improves Photo Mode, Gameplay, Cutscenes, FSR

Stellar Blade’s latest PC update, Version 1.3.0, has launched, adding refinements to Photo Mode alongside gameplay tweaks, cinematic adjustments, and AMD FSR optimizations.

This patch, released today, primarily aims to enhance the PC edition’s performance and stability rather than introducing major content. Notable upgrades include a Photo Mode enhancement showing logo control markers during selection. The update resolves multiple technical problems, such as a shop interaction bug that trapped players post-purchase of Polarized Sunglasses at Clyde’s store. It also fixes visual inconsistencies in the final Elder Naytibe sequence where Eve’s hairstyle vanished while wearing certain bear-themed costumes. Additionally, Korean voiceover synchronization has been corrected for specific desert-based dialogues. AMD FSR now requires a game restart to activate frame generation, while the save system now tracks elapsed time more precisely using completed saves rather than attempts. Full patch details are available here.

Since its PC debut following its PlayStation 5 success, Stellar Blade has maintained strong player engagement, bolstered by a stable port performing smoothly across varied hardware. While initial optimization was robust, Shift Up has proactively updated the PC release with incremental fixes. The prior 1.2.0 update notably removed completion prerequisites for accessing Hard Mode.

Stellar Blade is accessible globally on PC and PlayStation 5. To explore further, check out Kai’s detailed analysis of Shift Up’s action RPG.
