Ready or Not Tops 3 Million Console Sales

VOID Interactive revealed that its inaugural tactical FPS title, Ready or Not, has exceeded three million copies sold on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S since its mid-July console debut. The self-published game achieved this milestone in under two months, following a prior announcement of two million sales within its initial fortnight.

Combined sales have reached 13 million, with PC users accounting for 10 million units—a platform where the game built its reputation through a two-year early access phase. Cross-platform multiplayer functionality allows squad coordination across all supported systems.

The PC player base recently expressed concerns over selective alterations made to align with console editions. These included six specific visual modifications:

  • Post-death dismemberment effects have been removed (active combatants retain this feature)
  • Twisted Nerve scenario: The adolescent now appears unconscious rather than seizuring
  • A Lethal Obsession: Modified attire for suspect in camouflage gear
  • Hide and Seek: Added undergarments for captive women
  • Narcos: Confidential informant now clothed with basic underlayer
  • 23 Megabytes a Second: Adjusted reference imagery to enhance narrative cohesion with subsequent Sinuous Trail assignment
  • Post-death dismemberment effects have been removed (active combatants retain this feature)
