Pragmata reappears in today’s PlayStation State of Play.

The PlayStation State of Play event provided fresh insights into Capcom’s mysterious project Pragmata. Viewers were first met with a simulated commercial for the fictional Delphi Corporation before transitioning into actual gameplay footage. Originally unveiled four years prior with a 2022 target, the title’s launch has now been pushed to 2026.

Pragmata Stages Comeback During PlayStation Presentation

This sci-fi adventure centers on a duo – a spacesuited protagonist accompanied by Diana, a robotic companion resembling a young girl. The developers concluded their reveal with an inside joke, updating their previous apology message from earlier delays to a 2026 launch confirmation accompanied by the phrase “it’s real”.

While Diana’s design initially suggests vulnerability, her capabilities prove surprisingly formidable as the narrative unfolds. With launch plans set tentatively for 2026, specific details about Pragmata‘s gameplay and story remain under wraps pending future announcements.
