HoYoVerse (formerly miHoYo) has unveiled Honkai: Nexus Anima, a tactical creature-taming RPG set within the Honkai: Star Rail universe. Launching fresh gameplay mechanics distinct from its 2023 gacha predecessor, this title lets players command spiritual allies called Anima across fragmented dimensions.

Studio notes outline the premise: Players embody a dimension-wandering fugitive rebuilding alliances after breaking free from confinement. Starting in a serene village nexus, they’ll unlock realities where Anima entities become pivotal allies. These companions influence story progression through shared memories in turn-based Nexus Duels, revealing hidden truths about the protagonist’s origins. The game expands Honkai’s narrative legacy while innovating combat systems and environmental design.

Limited beta access for “Soul Resonance Testing” runs on PC and iOS, with hardware requirements including:
– PC: Intel i5-11400H/Ryzen 5 5600H (or better), RTX 2060/RX 5600 XT GPU, 16GB RAM
– iOS: iPhone 12 Pro/13 Pro or newer (excluding base 13 models), iOS 14+, 6GB RAM
