The renowned Japanese studio behind titles like The Evil Within and Hi-Fi Rush, recently revitalized under KRAFTON’s ownership, has resumed operations. A refreshed digital presence accompanies its revival, featuring updated branding and recruitment efforts for an upcoming project in the action genre.
An official statement reads: “It took us some time, but the official office for Tango Gameworks, Inc. is open, and our hybrid work environment finally has its in-office counterpart! These things take time, but our office in Tokyo is back open as we fill it with our memorabilia from our projects and begin decorating based on our new brand identity!”
Currently in pre-production, the studio is staffing up across multiple disciplines for its undisclosed title. Its rebranded visual identity emphasizes artisanal craftsmanship, with leadership describing the studio as “a creative workshop prioritizing tactile, intentional design in every project.”
Established over a decade ago under Zenimax, the developer gained recognition through titles like Ghostwire: Tokyo alongside its flagship horror and rhythm-action franchises prior to recent organizational shifts.
