Your journey in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom commences deep below Hyrule Castle. Follow Zelda closely and examine your surroundings. After navigating through a corridor with statues, you’ll encounter Keese. Defeat them to proceed. A cutscene will follow, leading you through a smoky corridor. Upon waking, retrieve the Decayed Master Sword and use it to clear the vines. Interact with the glowing green hand symbol to unlock the next area. Continue exploring, retrieve the Archaic Legwear from a chest, and exit through the portal to the Great Sky Island.

After emerging, head to the Great Sky Island, starting with the Temple of Time. Collect resources along the way. Engage and defeat a Zonai Soldier Construct to access a Wooden Stick. Continue to the Steward Construct for the Purah Pad, essential for progressing through the game.

To advance, locate another glowing green circle near the Steward Construct to activate a bridge. Cross and follow the path to a diving platform. Swim through the pond to explore a larger section of the Great Sky Island. Proceed to the Temple of Time, navigating through Soldier Constructs, and interact with the shrine to begin the main quest, The Closed Door.

Complete all shrines on the Great Sky Island to finish The Closed Door quest. Follow the provided steps for each shrine to unlock new areas and progress further.
