Talos Principle: Reawakened has revitalize the original game and its Road to Gehenna expansion, bringing it into Unreal Engine 5. Additionally, it introduced something entirely new to the puzzle series: a fresh expansion called In the Beginning. This expansion includes 18 new puzzles, serving as a narrative prequel to the original game. What sets In the Beginning apart is that 16 of its puzzles were created in collaboration with the community, showcasing the creativity of dedicated players who have been crafting their own levels for over a decade.
It’s a unique feature that also explains why these puzzles are among the most challenging in the Talos Principle series. Designed by and for hardcore fans, they cater to experienced players seeking a true test.

- Upon entering the puzzle area, collect the hexahedron. This action will alter the state of the gates. Position the hexahedron in front of the fan located on the right side of the area.

- Take a connector (C1) and link it to both the blue and red laser generators, as well as the blue and red nodes controlling the shields blocking access to the tetromino, opposite the puzzle entrance. Place it on top of the hexahedron.

- Next, grab the second connector (C2) and connect it to the red and blue laser generators, the blue and red nodes on either side of the puzzle area, which activate the fans, and also link it to the same blue and red nodes as C1. Place it on top of the pressure switch.

- Move towards the shields blocking the path to the tetromino. You’ll notice the hexahedron and C1 oscillating as the nodes alternate between red and blue lasers on either side of the puzzle area.

- With the shields now oscillating, you can navigate through them and proceed toward the tetromino to complete the puzzle.
