Pokemon Legends Z-A: Obtaining Slowpoke and Evolutions

As a Gen I species, Slowpoke appears in Pokemon Legends Z-A, enabling trainers to obtain its evolved counterparts—Slowbro and Slowking. The game also introduces Mega Evolution mechanics for Slowbro.

Trainers can encounter Slowpoke in Wild Zones 10 and 11, with the latter hosting higher-level specimens ideal for combat teams. While Zone 10 suits Pokedex completionists, Zone 11 provides stronger candidates for evolution purposes. Capturing this Pokemon at higher levels minimizes grinding before evolutionary milestones.

Acquiring Slowbro and Slowking

Upon reaching Level 37, Slowpoke transforms into Slowbro automatically. For Slowking, trainers must trade a Slowpoke holding a King’s Rock. Players without local trading partners can utilize dedicated trade codes to connect with others seeking the same evolution. Mega Slowbro becomes accessible after obtaining Slowbronite, acquired by defeating the Rogue Mega Slowbro during the campaign.
