Monster Hunter Wilds – How to Get Zoh Shia Investigations

Monster Hunter Wilds’ first significant update brought several new features and additions, including a fresh monster to hunt and returning fan favorites like Mizutsune. The most challenging addition so far is the high rank Zoh Shia, which has become one of the toughest battles in the game. As tradition dictates, defeating such formidable foes rewards players with valuable monster parts for crafting elite gear.

Once you’ve conquered high rank Zoh Shia during the Germination quest, you might want to face this powerful creature again to gather more of its rare parts for crafting. A straightforward method to engage Zoh Shia once more is by utilizing the SOS Flare system. Simply interact with Alma outside of a hunt, navigate to the SOS Flare Quests tab in the quest menu, and select Zoh Shia as your target. You’ll often find active quests, though they may fill up quickly, so patience may be required.

Another approach to revisit high rank Zoh Shia is by unlocking Zoh Shia Investigations in your game. This process requires visiting the Ruins of Wyveria during the Inclemency season. To do this, travel to the Ruins of Wyveria, enter your tent, switch the season to Inclemency, and keep checking until Zoh Shia appears. The game will notify you of its arrival, similar to how it alerts you to the presence of other apex predators like Jin Dahaad and Rey Dau. Once Zoh Shia is spotted, you can save the quest as an Investigation, which can be replayed three times. If you need more parts beyond these attempts, simply repeat the process to bring Zoh Shia back into the game.
