Master the Pitch: Rematch Controls (Keyboard & Controller) – Open Beta

Mastering Rematch’s controls for both keyboard and controller is crucial for excelling in this dynamic soccer game. While the developers suggest using a controller for the best experience, both input methods have their unique benefits, allowing players to choose their preferred style.

Keyboard & Mouse – Precision and Control

Using a mouse enhances accuracy when shooting and passing in matches. This precision is essential, especially in competitive play, where long-distance accuracy can make a significant difference.

Note: The game is in active development, so controls may be subject to change.

Finding Your Fit – Controller vs. Keyboard

The choice between a controller and keyboard is personal. If you’re experienced with a controller, it’s recommended. Practice with either, but consider avoiding Ranked until you’re comfortable.

  • Keyboard & Mouse – offers precise shooting and passing
  • Controller – provides smoother movements, ideal for dribbling and field control.

Regardless of your choice, these basics are just the start. Rematch offers a high skill ceiling, so practice in Training Mode to build skills, then challenge others in matches.
