Warp Mechanics in Honkai: Star Rail involve using Star Passes to obtain characters and Light Cones through rotating promotions.
Limited-time character promotions typically last 21 days, featuring one exclusive 5-Star unit and enhanced probabilities for select 4-Stars. Parallel equipment banners showcase signature weapons with matching durations.
Phase 2 of Version 3.4 introduces three recurrent 5-Stars: Firefly (Pyro/Destruction), Jingliu (Cryo/Destruction), and Blade (Anemo/Destruction). Accompanying 4-Star units will receive increased appearance rates during their collective promotion window starting July 23rd.
A special crossover event launches July 11th featuring Fate/stay night characters. Archer (Quantum/Hunt) becomes obtainable as free premium currency redemption until Version 3.6 concludes, while Saber (Anemo/Destruction) debuts through exclusive summons. This separate banner maintains independent pity counters from standard promotions.
Version 3.5 previews Hysilens (Physical/Nihility) and Cerydra (Anemo/Harmony) as upcoming 5-Star additions. Weapon rotations during Phase 2 will feature signature Light Cones for Firefly, Jingliu, and Blade alongside boosted 4-Star equipment.
