In Hell Is Us, scattered across the hellscape of Hadea are optional missions called Good Deeds. These tasks involve retrieving items, rescuing survivors, or delivering crucial supplies. Completing them increases your Good Deeds count, unlocking rewards from Gildas Brom at the Watcher’s Nest later in the game.

With 23 Good Deeds total, some are simple while others have hidden timers or fail states. Below is a breakdown of every quest and its requirements.

Senedra Forest

  • The Golden Watch – Locate a lockbox in the trenches to find a gold watch and return it to Ernest Caddell in his farm’s cellar.

  • Forlorn Fate – Retrieve the Blood Flame relic and smuggler’s map from Lamit Gantt’s body in Talju. Use the relic to free trapped survivors in Senedra Forest. Deliver the map to Yohan or Dolo before collecting the third keystone.

Acasa Marshes

  • Love Thy Neighbor – Trade a bloodied plushie (found at the hangman’s tree) with a drunk man for a classroom photo. Deliver the photo to a grieving woman near Abbot Jaffer before Vaas moves to Panthem Abbey.

  • Victor’s Vigil – Obtain a house key from Victor in the tunnel maintenance room. Use it to retrieve car keys in Jova, then unlock a submerged car to find a necklace. Return it to Victor.

  • Asunder – Collect a wife’s letter from a Jova suitcase and deliver it to a father near the mass grave before placing the Keystone of Grief.

  • Performance of a Lifetime – Gather sheet music from Jova and Vyssa Hills for fiddler Cyan Karsh before Jaffer leaves for the abbey.

  • Land of Milk and Honey – Collect empty baby bottles from Jova’s tunnels. Have Ernest fill them, then return them to Judith Kerr in Acasa Marsh before placing the Keystone of Grief.

  • Waylaid – Retrieve a keycard in Lethe to access an OMSIF depot and recover a military radio. Collect medicine from Talju and deliver both to Roho and Tyra before the third keystone.

  • Where the Heart Is – After placing the Keystone of Grief, find a photo from an ON convoy and return it to Zao Ru in Jova.

Vyssa Hills

  • Death’s Door – Deliver Atenolol from a mine convoy to Diana Kos in the refugee camp before placing the Keystone of Grief.

  • Heart of Gold – Close the Timeloop, collect ON pickup keys, and give them to Atticus Caddell. Assist all refugees first for optimal results.

  • Man’s Best Friend – Free a dog near Jova’s well for a collar medal. Deliver it to an elderly couple in Vyssa Hills before Jaffer departs.

Talju

Marastan

  • Airwaves of Oppression – Recover an antenna key to shut down a transmission box under the Blood Queen statue.

  • Samo’s Keys – Return a car key from Samo’s store to a rooftop family.

  • Power to the People – Collect fuses to restore Marastan’s power.

  • The Depths of Hell – After restoring power, give boat gas from the Deimos camp to Bob. Return later for barn loot.

  • Thy Father’s Ashes – Deliver an urn and letter to a priest in Jeljin, defeat enemies, then place the urn in a mausoleum.

Jeljin

  • Separated – Defeat Herder, Haze, and Artillery to reunite siblings.

  • Never Worn – Use a cave key to retrieve red shoes and place them in an abandoned Jova bedroom.

Lethe

  • Incognito – Recover civilian clothes using a Propaganda Building keycard and give them to an ON soldier.

  • A Way Out – Collect blank IDs and a stamp in Lethe for the Sabinian Matriarch.

Auriga Museum

  • Mementos – After finishing Heart of Gold and The Depths of Hell, deliver the Hand-Made Ring and Cigarette Case to Dag or Linda.
