Ghost of Yotei: Lost In Reflection Walkthrough

The mission titled Lost in Reflection within Ghost of Yotei unfolds in the Yotei Grasslands area. Accessible post-prologue, this brief adventure involves aiding a cartographer and uncovering hidden spiritual locations. Below, we outline the objectives to finish this quest.

Initiating the Lost in Reflection Quest

Initiate the mission by locating Isaburo, a mapmaker stationed close to the Old Inn northwest of Atsu’s residence. Engaging in dialogue with him—regardless of purchasing maps—triggers a request to find Gessho, a monk assisting in pinpointing a sacred site. This conversation officially starts the quest.

Completing the Quest Objectives

Proceed through these stages to accomplish the task:

Pinpointing the Monk’s Camp

Activate your spyglass (via D-pad’s upward input) to scan smoke signals near the mentioned camp. Sprint to the marked location after identification to meet Gessho.

Journey to the Altar

Upon locating Gessho, discuss the altar’s whereabouts. Trail him while clearing blocked pathways by cutting bamboo. At the Altar of Reflection, perform a bow gesture using a downward swipe on the controller’s touchpad. This awards a skill point for unlocking combat or survival techniques in Atsu’s progression tree.

Confronting Hostile Forces

Post-bowing, enemies ambush the group. Eliminate all adversaries to protect Gessho, concluding the mission. While no physical rewards are granted post-quest, the skill point acquired during exploration remains accessible.
