In Elden Ring Nightreign, Remembrance Quests form a core narrative component. By progressing through these quests, players can obtain exclusive equipment like mystical relics, ceremonial vessels, and alternate character appearances.
Quest Activation Process
Initiating these narrative missions requires defeating specific adversaries. Players must vanquish a Night Lord using the same character they intend to progress with. For example, overcoming this challenge with Iron Eye unlocks his unique storyline.
Access the Journal interface within the Round Table Hold sanctuary. Successful elimination of the required Night Lord enables the “Begin Remembrance” option. Selecting this transports players to the Realm of Remembrance – a spectral parallel world maintaining standard gameplay mechanics.
Engaging With Key NPCs
A distinctive map marker appears upon entering the spectral realm, indicating the Priestess’s location. Dialogue with this NPC reveals insights about the Fellowship faction and Merchant alliances.
During interactions, exhaust all conversation options to receive individualized objectives. These typically involve eliminating specific spectral duplicates of playable characters. Notably, only one primary goal can be active per expedition, with co-op sessions prioritizing random player objectives.
Combat Challenges
The assigned adversaries mirror the player’s current character build and abilities. Successful elimination awards the Traitor’s Letter item. Players may then choose to complete the expedition or deliberately perish to immediately return to the Round Table Hold.
Quest Completion
Return to the Priestess marked by a quest indicator to deliver the acquired document. Subsequent dialogue concludes the current Remembrance arc, with a portal appearing to exit the spectral realm.
Rewards including ceremonial artifacts, power-enhancing chalices, and aesthetic unlocks are granted upon returning to normal gameplay. Multiple character-specific quests appear in the Journal, requiring sequential completion to obtain all available rewards.
