Complete Walkthrough: Genius or Crackpot? Mission

Begin at the Misono Residence
After starting the mission, leave the attic and proceed to the household’s main living area. Previous players familiar with the Time Stranger quest will recognize the route. Here, interact with Kosuke and his Digimon partner Aegiomon to trigger a teleportation sequence to Shinjuku Park by selecting the prompt for immediate departure. Upon arrival, locate Kodai Kuremi (Chief Investigator) and Dr. Simmons to initiate the experiment.
Navigating the Scientific Trial

The trial requires using Aegiomon’s Wind Claw ability repeatedly against a stationary, shielded target. Upon completing this task, Aegiomon will wander off to interact with children in the park. Follow your quest marker to reunite with your companion, triggering a return to the Misono attic. A concluding conversation with your operator completes the mission, unlocking the subsequent quest: “A Vow Made on a Starry Sky.”
