Locating the Mauswheel Encounter

Triggering this battle requires exploring Queen’s Mansion. Navigate to the second floor and interact with a distinctive crimson painting to reveal a hidden kitchen. Inside, Swatchlings will appear distressed before the Maice coalesce into the spinning Mauswheel formation.

Combat Strategies Against Mauswheel

Mauswheel employs two primary attack patterns: pursuing players with a target cursor and launching volleys of expanding projectiles. With 1753 HP, defeating it conventionally is possible but less optimal than using non-violent solutions.

Nonviolent Resolution Method

Utilize the Catch mechanic when both party members are conscious for maximum efficiency. The enhanced Catch X ability deploys a large cage to contain multiple Maice, rapidly filling the mercy gauge. If incapacitated team members limit this option, Kris can still use a basic cage version. Maintaining Kris’ health is critical, as successful containment leads to automatic resolution or external intervention ending the confrontation.
