Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.3 launches on July 17, 2025, delivering features like autonomous driving, enhanced visuals, and performance upgrades. Available initially on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, a Nintendo Switch 2 version will arrive later via the Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition.

Key Additions: Vehicles & Automation

  • Four new vehicles, three tied to side quests
  • AutoDrive: Hold H (PC) or Left Stick (console) to let your car navigate to objectives. Disabled during combat or vehicle damage.
  • Cinematic Camera: Activate with Q (PC) or D-Pad Right (console) while AutoDrive is active.

Expanded Convenience Features

  • Delamain Cabs: Post-quest Don’t Lose Your Mind, summon self-driving taxis via the vehicle menu.
  • CrystalCoat: Now compatible with motorcycles and select low-end cars (excludes Nomad/quest vehicles).

Photo Mode Upgrades

  • Spawn 27 NPCs (Rita Wheeler, Dum Dum, iguana, etc.)
  • Swap outfits for V and NPCs
  • New stickers, frames, and filters
  • Optional eye-tracking for V
  • Confirmation prompt prevents accidental menu exits

Quality-of-Life Improvements

  • Tutorial replay option in Settings → Controls
  • Toggle aim-down-sights option
  • Automatic detection of inverted mouse configurations
  • Repaired quests: Bloody Ritual, Sex on Wheels, Shot by Both Sides now function correctly

Technical Adjustments

  • Missed Cyberware Capacity Shards can now be reclaimed
  • Fixed automatic weapon fire rates and Engineer perk behavior
  • BARGHEST Tac Vest drops restored
  • Vehicle jump key (Stuntjock perk) is rebindable

Visual & Audio Fixes

  • Radio and NPC Radioport glitches resolved
  • Enhanced HDR calibration
  • Johnny Silverhand can be dismissed from vehicles
  • Texture and localization errors addressed

PC Enhancements

  • AMD FSR 4 support (post-driver release)
  • AMD FSR 3.1 Frame Generation & Intel XeSS 2.0 added
  • HDR10+ Gaming for Intel GPUs
  • DLSS presets now retain settings
  • Borderless mode allows cross-display mouse movement
  • Save file size cap increased to 15 MB

Are the new cars tied to quests?

Yes. Three of the four are unlocked through new side jobs. One is purchasable directly.

Can I use CrystalCoat on all vehicles?

No. Some Nomad and quest-related vehicles do not support the feature.
