Thomas the Fox has seven distinct escape routes in the game, each linked to a Tarot-themed achievement. These paths require specific quests, items, or stat checks, and cannot all be completed when playing as Bob the Panther. While Bob shares the prison layout, many of Thomas’s story-driven escapes are unavailable due to missing NPCs or altered triggers.

The Sun

  • Steps:
    • Accept the Poopy Pendant quest and access the septic tank
    • Discover Lisa’s body and gather clues: TC-13 (mailroom), Billy’s debt (locker), and a tarp scrap
    • Mail the evidence collage and confront Billy
    • Coordinate a conjugal visit using Maggie, Beth, or Barbara
    • Escape through the Warden’s office with Billy’s help

Unlocks The Sun achievement.

Strength

  • Requirements: Win 4 boxing matches and the tournament
  • Steps:
    • Stack boxes in the lounge under the vent
    • Open the vent using the trophy
    • Escape during a QTE sequence, dodging Billy’s shots

Unlocks Strength achievement.

The Tower (Infirmary Escape)

  • Steps:
    • Apply Corrosive Solution repeatedly to weaken the infirmary sink
    • Climb through, dismantle cell bars, and scale the tower
    • Avoid spotlights and sniper fire using agility checks
    • Zipline off the tower’s peak

Unlocks The Tower achievement.

The Moon (Sewer Escape)

  • Requirements: Spoon/pickaxe, Rust Remover
  • Steps:
    • Move the Detergent Room cabinet and dig through the wall
    • Crawl through the hatch at night and solve the sewer puzzle
    • Defeat the Giant Crab boss to exit

Unlocks The Moon achievement.

The Magician

  • Steps:
    • On Day 14, gather an apple and paring knife
    • Begin peeling the apple at 22:00 during lockdown
    • Finish precisely at midnight to activate the supernatural mirror

Unlocks The Magician achievement.

The Chariot

  • Steps:
    • Complete Alex’s tasks: lipstick, kitchen cellar map, and stolen baseball
    • Sketch the cellar, unlock the cage room, and steal from the mailroom
    • Escape through the cellar during Day 17’s riot after defeating Alex

The Star (Roof Escape)

  • Requirements: 30 Good Conduct Credits, wingsuit blueprint (Game of Kings I–III)
  • Steps:
    • Disable the rooftop fan with rubber gloves
    • Access the roof via agility jump or second-floor cell
    • Craft wingsuit parts and glide from the water tower

FAQ

Is the Giant Crab boss mandatory?

Only for The Moon route. It’s required to finish the sewer escape.

Are these routes repeatable?

Each escape ends the run. You must start a new game to try another.

Which escape uses the infirmary?

The Tower. You corrode the sink and climb the tower during lockdown.

Which escape uses the roof?

The Star. Thomas escapes by gliding off the water tower using a wingsuit.

Does Bob have Tarot achievements?

No. Only Thomas’s route includes Tarot-based endings.

Does Bob use the same routes as Thomas?

Partially. Some physical routes remain, but others are blocked for story reasons.
