Despite the restricted beta version, adventurers in Apocrypha can advance their avatars significantly. Newcomers eager to explore this realm may find foundational strategies below for enhancing their journey’s effectiveness.
Starting Your Journey in Apocrypha
Upon character creation, you’ll awaken aboard the Skyship Vanguard—a hub for accessing game modes, trading Lunari (the primary currency), and acquiring skills. Your initial priority should be to begin the introductory mission through Nero, stationed near the helm.
After conversing with Nero, you’ll venture into the Sunken Bastille to secure early gear. Return to the Skyship post-tutorial to explore further opportunities.
Next, enter the Captain’s Quarters behind the ship’s leader to loot chests for Lunari and gear. Engage with Fenwick nearby to acquire a starter spellbook through a brief questline.

With Lunari accumulated, visit Beowulf at the Skyship’s stern to trade for equipment. Subsequently, challenge Ronan in combat to unlock Arena modes—victory grants access to competitive 1v1, 2v2, and free-for-all battles.
Advancing in Apocrypha’s Beta
Current progression revolves around two modes: Arena skirmishes and Battle Royale. An open-world expansion is anticipated later.
Engage in Arena Combat

Unlock advanced classes by presenting Class Artifacts to Noir, sourced from Lockboxes bought with Arena Vouchers. These containers also yield weapon enhancements, spells, and armor, making them crucial for growth.
Battle Royale Participation

Victory in Battle Royale yields Emblems for accessing restricted zones via Giles NPC:
- Old World: Unlocked with 2 Emblems
- Test Environment: Requires 5 Emblems
- Empyrean Embassy – Free trading hub
Royal Tokens obtained here function like Arena Vouchers, redeemable for Noir’s inventory. Focus on mastering classes and upgrading gear to dominate competitive modes during the beta phase.
