Acquiring Progression Badges in Abyss Miner

Players obtain these progression badges by gathering resources and interacting with Karl near cosmetic shops. Five tiers exist currently, unlocked sequentially: starting with basic tiers before accessing advanced ones.

Each badge unlocks specific mechanics and vendor access as shown below:

Whistle	Effect
Moon Whistle	Players with a Moon Whistle can purchase Spiral Drill of Abyss and Black Steel Shovel. Unlocks the Old Man quest that rewards Chasm Smasher.
Blue Whistle	Provides access to elevator use for Layer 1 and Layer 2. Pay $1000 to descend to Layer 1 and $5000 to descend to Layer 2. Pay $2000 to ascend back to the Surface. Players with a Blue Whistle can shop at Dzack’s Shop (1,000Kg Backpack, Mxplr. Pickaxe Tier 2, Leather Boots, Cragsplitter, Xplr. Gloves).
Red Whistle	Players with a Red Whistle can purchase Core Breaker (Fist Gear) and shop at Contraville’s Shop (Drill Tier 1 & 2, 500Kg Backpack, Standard & Leather Gloves, Heavy Pickaxe Tier 2, Mxplr. Pickaxe, Fur Helmet).
Copper Whistle	Provides access to elevator use for Layer 1. Pay $1000 to descend to Layer 1 and $2000 to ascend back to the Surface. Players with a Copper Whistle now shop at Mimi’s Shop (Heavy Pickaxe, Xplr. Pickaxe, Xplr. Pickaxe Tier 2, and 250Kg Backpack).
