Forza Horizon 5 has just gotten a new update from its developers, with the PS5 version receiving several platform-specific fixes.
Version 1.685.019.0 is now available for download on PS5 and focuses mainly on resolving issues and improving the game’s performance.
In addition to general improvements, the patch addresses problems with Weekly Challenges, certain Accolades, steering wheel controls, and other features.

General
- Various performance and stability improvements
Weekly Challenges
- Fixed an issue where players’ progress in the Weekly Challenge would reset and hinder their ability to advance
Accolades
- Resolved an issue preventing the “Night Time Funk” and “Eterna-lly Yours” radio station Accolades from unlocking
- Fixed a bug where the “Time-Wyrm”, “Shooting Star”, and “D is for…” speed Accolades were not unlocking
PS5-Specific Fixes
- Addressed an issue where the R2/L2 buttons were not mappable for gas/brake when using wheels with pedals
- Fixed a problem with mapping dial and +/- buttons on Logitech G29/G920 and G923 wheels
- Resolved an issue preventing camera controls for exploring from being mapped on the Logitech G29
- Fixed the issue where dials and GL/GR buttons were unassignable on the Logitech G Pro Wheel when connected to the RS Wheel Hub
- Restored proper sorting in the Friends List to Platform -> Online -> Alphabetical
