Hamaguchi outlined the trilogy’s evolving design philosophy: the debut entry prioritized a tightly scripted narrative, while its sequel embraced expansive open landscapes. The third installment, however, is described as pivoting toward an “innovative gameplay approach,” though specifics remain scarce. “Each title evolves not just narratively but in how players engage with the world. Part 3 will challenge expectations with mechanics that redefine the experience,” he added.
While his remarks were intentionally broad, they suggest a departure from the structural templates of prior entries.
