Chief Rebel and Arc Games have postponed the early access launch of their cooperative dungeon-crawling title Fellowship by a week, shifting the Steam release to October 16. Originally slated for October 9, the adjustment aims to refine the experience and avoid clashing with major competing releases.
In a developer update, Community Lead Hamish Bode shared:
While we’re eager to let players dive in, this short delay allows us to implement critical polish informed by ongoing internal testing. Key systems have undergone significant revisions, and we want them fully optimized before launch. Additionally, the original date coincided with multiple high-profile releases—pushing back gives Fellowship a stronger chance to shine.
A public beta test running September 18–23 (10 AM PT) will offer players in North America, Europe, and Asia hands-on access. Participants can choose from seven classes—two tank roles, three damage dealers, and two supports—while tackling dungeons in casual or competitive modes. New features include revamped matchmaking, a gear progression system with crafting and legendary items, and the Urrak Markets dungeon. The beta also introduces expanded customization options, mounts, and visual upgrades based on feedback from February’s Steam Next Fest demo. This phase will stress-test network infrastructure ahead of early access.
