Numerous studios have unveiled plans to adapt their games for Nintendo’s next-generation console, with Gameloft becoming the latest to share updates regarding Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Through a recent social media post, the developer confirmed the life simulation title will launch on the upcoming platform while maintaining support for current Switch hardware.

“We’re happy to announce that the Nintendo Switch version of Disney Dreamlight Valley is compatible with Nintendo Switch 2! Stay tuned for more information on a Nintendo Switch 2 version of the game.”

Details about potential upgrade incentives or additional features for existing owners remain unconfirmed. Originally positioned as a free-to-play experience, the project ultimately launched as a premium product.
