Fans will get fresh details about Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 next month during Gamescom’s opening festivities.
The highly anticipated global premiere for the upcoming installment is slated for August 19th at Gamescom’s Opening Night Live, hosted by Geoff Keighley. The event starts at 2:00 PM ET / 11:00 AM PT / 8:00 PM CEST. This approach marks a shift, as Call of Duty reveals typically occur outside major gaming events, leaving room for potential standalone showcases later.
News of the Gamescom premiere aligns with earlier hints about a summer showcase. So far, only a brief trailer—unveiled during June’s Xbox event—has teased the game’s 2035 timeline. Developers later confirmed the entire story campaign will support cooperative multiplayer.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 launches this holiday season across PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S.
