Activision has revealed an early preview of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Zombies through a story-driven trailer, highlighting the ensemble of characters featured in this year’s storyline. Full gameplay details will reportedly arrive later during Call of Duty Next on September 30.

While no in-game footage is included, the cinematic preview offers glimpses of the “Ashes of the Damned” map and depicts the initial convergence of the eight protagonists.

An official Call of Duty blog post expands on the expanded roster, providing profiles for characters like Grigori Weaver, Dr. Elizabeth Grey, Tank Dempsey, and others, diving into their roles within the narrative.

Prior to Call of Duty Next, another update will share additional Zombies gameplay specifics ahead of the title’s global launch on November 14, 2025. Separately, Activision addressed recent community critiques about the series’ direction, confirming that Black Ops 6 cosmetic items and gear won’t transfer to the upcoming installment.
