Nash Weedle, a Spanish insider, has shared that Neowiz is working on bringing their popular Souls-like game, Lies of P, to the Nintendo Switch 2. Here’s what they revealed on X:

A port of Lies of P for the Nintendo Switch 2 is indeed in development. The announcement might come in June, but it depends on certain aspects of the porting process. Neowiz wants to release the game with a confirmed launch date. After the recent updates about Lies of P’s DLC, I dug deeper and confirmed with a contact that the port is being developed for Switch 2. Despite earlier claims by Digital Foundry that Double A-studios hadn’t received the development kit, that information is incorrect.

It wouldn’t be surprising if Neowiz is porting the game, as many developers and publishers are showing interest in the new Nintendo console. Plus, Lies of P isn’t very demanding in terms of performance. On PC, it runs smoothly on less powerful hardware than what’s expected in the Switch 2:

Now, the bigger question is whether this port will launch alongside the Lies of P DLC, Overture, which still doesn’t have an official release date but is expected soon. Here’s what Kai Tatsumoto had to say after previewing Overture at a press event:

Three hours weren’t enough to explore Overture in depth, but I’m already thinking about how my NG+3 run will prepare me for tackling the DLC. Early on, there’s a stronger focus on using two-handed weapons, so I’m excited to grab my gunblade and blast my way to victory. The only thing we know for now is that Overture will launch this summer. Along with the DLC, there will be a significant patch adding quality-of-life improvements, including two new difficulty levels designed for players who want to focus more on the story rather than the combat mechanics. Lastly, Overture will be a premium DLC priced at $29.99 for the base game.
