Redeem Custom Xbox Gift Cards Now via Microsoft Rewards

Recently, we discussed Microsoft’s Xbox updates for May, which included Retro Classics, a surprising addition for us. However, there’s another significant update that deserves more attention, particularly one new feature.

As part of the May update, Xbox Gift Cards can now be redeemed at any custom amount through Microsoft Rewards. Previously, users could only redeem store credit in $5 increments. Now, you can choose “Custom” and enter any amount between $5 and $100.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Select “Xbox Gift Card” in the Rewards catalog.
  2. Choose an amount from the drop-down menu or select “Custom.”
  3. If choosing “Custom,” enter any amount between $5 and $100.
  4. Click “Redeem Reward” to complete.
  5. The gift card will be added to your account balance upon completion.

This new feature is quite convenient, offering flexibility in how much credit you want to redeem and the number of Reward points you use. We’re excited to try this feature soon when we’re next shopping on the Xbox Store.
