Facing a large number of Illuminate ships during this mission requires a strategic approach. These ships release troops, and it’s crucial to prevent their numbers from overwhelming your forces. The key lies in dealing damage effectively and controlling the zone.

I prefer handling warships personally while using autocannon and machine gun turrets to manage the troops. Proper placement of turrets is essential to avoid friendly fire. This mission demands a close-quarters approach to neutralize the ships effectively.

Once the ships land, target their blue shields until they turn red and break. A well-placed grenade or explosive will finish them off. An autocannon is my go-to weapon for this task due to its efficiency and ammo sustainability.

For primary weapons, the Liberator excels at breaking shields. While the Breaker and Incendiary Breaker are powerful, they have more significant ammo consumption. The Eruptor is ideal for long-range shield-breaking but requires precision.

Addressing major threats before they escalate is critical. If an enemy breaches your defense, eliminate it immediately. Allowing stragglers to gather can lead to a collapse of your efforts to repel the fleet.
