Recently, Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II was revealed for PS5, and now, it seems that Ninja Theory’s intense tale will receive the physical release it lacked initially.
The ESRB has rated the game’s re-release, with Limited Run Games listed as the publisher (via Wario64’s insights).
Limited Run specializes in creating physical editions for games that are otherwise only available digitally.
While typically indie and retro titles benefit from this service, Hellblade II stands out as a prominent contemporary game to receive this treatment.
Although no official announcement has been made, the ESRB rating strongly suggests the physical edition’s existence. It will be available for PS5 and Xbox Series consoles.
Collectors have faced disappointment with recent Microsoft titles, which have been released digitally with physical copies requiring downloads. Hellblade II, however, might be the exception, thanks to Limited Run.
Rumors about a physical version for Gears of War: Reloaded are circulating, but we’ll have to wait for confirmation.
We anticipate Limited Run will formally announce the physical edition soon. Would you prefer to add this to your collection or stick with the digital version? Share your thoughts below.
