How to Conquer a Village in Dune: Spice Wars
Before embarking on an attack against a village in Dune: Spice Wars, players must first recruit army units. To do this, follow these steps:
- Click on the ‘plus’ icon located beneath the military tab in the drop-down menu on the right side of the screen.
Dune: Spice Wars offers seven distinct types of military units, including Trooper, Ranger, Heavy Weapon Squad, Support Drone, Warden, Hawk, and Kraken. It’s advisable to experiment with different combinations of these units to achieve optimal results.
After recruiting an army unit, players can deploy an Ornithopter to scout the surrounding areas. Players begin with one default Ornithopter and can construct another by clicking on the ‘plus’ icon under the ‘Ornithopters’ tab. Once an Ornithopter discovers a village, players can claim it if the village is neutral. However, seizing control of a village is no simple task, as each village is defended by its native militias. - Liberation: If the village was previously controlled by an opponent faction, players can choose to liberate it. This action disrupts the enemy’s economy and is a strategic move.
- Pillaging: Alternatively, players can opt to pillage the village, allowing them to acquire its valuable resources.
Moreover, players will gain the ability to construct various buildings in their newly occupied villages, such as Dew Collectors and Plascrete Factories. To do so, follow these steps:
