Marvel Rivals, the no-cost multiplayer title, will debut its inaugural PvE experience on October 23, as confirmed by NetEase. This survival mode draws inspiration from Disney+’s mature-rated Marvel Zombies series, which premiered last month.

Marvel Games’ Executive Producer Danny Koo shared insights in a reveal trailer:

Fight alongside Thor, Blade, Magik, Jeff the Land Shark, and The Punisher against unrelenting zombie hordes. Survive escalating challenges, confront undead Namor and the Queen of the Dead as major adversaries, and prevent global zombification. Heroes wield revamped powers—Jeff bulldozes through enemies, Blade unleashes ricocheting Lunar Blades, Thor channels perpetual lightning storms, while Magik taps limitless demonic energy. Prove your mastery against overwhelming odds.

Additional specifics, like the event’s duration, remain under wraps.

Currently in Season 4.5 Heart of the Dragon, Marvel Rivals recently enabled cross-play progression support. Season 4.5 also introduced Daredevil as the 43rd roster addition, a dynamic Duelist specializing in rapid combos and acrobatics. The vigilante synergizes with The Punisher in cooperative assaults.
