Assetto Corsa Rally Coming to PC Early Access November

505 Games and Supernova Games Studios, with technical collaboration from KUNOS Simulazioni, have unveiled Assetto Corsa Rally—a rally-focused expansion of the acclaimed racing simulator series. Slated for an Early Access debut on Steam November 13, 2025, the game aims to deliver authentic off-road racing experiences for PC players.

This follows the early-access launch of Assetto Corsa EVO in January 2025, which still awaits a full release originally planned for Fall 2025. With no recent updates, fans remain uncertain about its final version’s timeline as October progresses.

A brief announcement trailer showcased snippets of gameplay, highlighting dynamic terrain and vehicle physics tailored for rally challenges.

Powered by a modified physics engine from KUNOS Simulazioni, the title simulates diverse surfaces, weather systems, and realistic car dynamics. Supernova emphasized the utilization of laser-scanned environments to replicate real-world rally stages, including terrain and vegetation, while leveraging Unreal Engine 5 for visual fidelity.

Early Access content includes:

  • 33km of real-world laser-mapped routes.
  • Four distinct special stages (18 variants) in Wales and Alsace.
  • 10 legendary rally vehicles spanning Group B, WRC, and Rally2 categories.
  • Five gameplay modes and triple-screen compatibility.

The full release will expand with six additional stages, 30 cars, VR support, and modes like career progression and rally training. No launch window for version 1.0 has been confirmed yet.

Maura Notarberardino, Supernova’s director, stated, “After recognizing a void in rally simulation, we collaborated with industry experts and KUNOS to create a title that honors the series’ legacy while innovating for off-road dynamics.”

Marco Massarutto of KUNOS noted rally’s unique demands: “Focusing on time trials rather than AI opponents allows deeper physics refinement. By merging our engine with laser-scanned tracks and iconic cars, we’re crafting the definitive rally sim fans deserve.”

The announcement arrives amid shifts in the rally gaming landscape. Following EA and Codemasters’ departure from annual WRC releases after EA Sports WRC 23, Nacon recently reclaimed the WRC license but has yet to announce new projects. This positions Assetto Corsa Rally as a potential frontrunner for sim enthusiasts seeking fresh rally experiences.

As the November launch approaches, anticipation builds for how this rally-focused iteration will enhance the Assetto Corsa franchise and fill a niche in the simulation racing genre.
