Starlight Games, led by Wipeout co-founder Nick Burcombe, will launch its immersive VR experience, House of Golf VR, on October 30, 2025, compatible with Meta Quest 2, 3, and 3S devices.
A newly released trailer demonstrates how players can design custom mini-golf environments by leveraging physical spaces. With room-scale tracking, users swing motion controllers as virtual putters to build dynamic courses within their homes or even outdoors.
Gary Nichols, Starlight Games’ CEO, emphasized in a statement: “This title merges creativity with technology, letting players reshape their surroundings into vibrant golf landscapes or explore our meticulously crafted virtual realms.”
While House of Golf VR marks the studio’s first release, its website hints at future projects, including an unannounced “high-tech competitive sports title” and a “procedural sci-fi action-adventure.”
In related Meta Quest updates, an Xbox-themed Meta Quest 3S variant debuted recently alongside confirmation of a follow-up to 2024’s popular Batman: Arkham Shadow VR game.
