The Witcher Season 4 premieres on Netflix this October, new teaser introduces Liam Hemsworth as Geralt

Netflix has confirmed that The Witcher will debut its penultimate season on October 30, 2025, marking Liam Hemsworth’s debut as Geralt following Henry Cavill’s departure. A teaser video showcasing Hemsworth in action was also released alongside the date reveal.

Though Cavill’s portrayal anchored the series’ initial success, propelling the recent surge of game-to-screen adaptations, Hemsworth now shoulders the responsibility of concluding the saga. The final two seasons were filmed back-to-back, streamlining post-production into a single editing phase.

Stepping into Geralt’s world as a longtime fan is incredibly thrilling,” Hemsworth remarked in a Netflix Tudum statement.

Netflix continues expanding its game-inspired slate beyond The Witcher, with an Assassin’s Creed series in development and a renewed Cyberpunk: Edgerunners animation arriving soon.

Cavill, meanwhile, remains immersed in game-based projects, currently spearheading a Warhammer 40,000 adaptation for Amazon.
