The expansive action-RPG Where Winds Meet, developed collaboratively by Everstone Studio and NetEase, will debut in Western territories for PlayStation 5 and PC on November 14, 2025. Originally released in China for PC in December 2024, the title expanded to mobile platforms in early 2025.

In a recent PlayStation Blog entry, creative lead Chris Lyu highlighted the game’s five-year development journey, stating: “This project represents our team’s dedication to capturing the dynamism of martial arts culture. Every element has been refined through years of passion, and we’re thrilled for global players to finally explore this world.”

Following its final regional playtest in July 2025, Where Winds Meet has generated significant anticipation. During pre-launch discussions with Wccftech, Lyu elaborated on the studio’s objectives: “Our primary focus has consistently centered on reimagining traditional wuxia themes through modern gameplay mechanics. We’re bridging cultural elements with universally relatable narratives and accessible themes to engage diverse audiences.”

Players worldwide will discover how this ambitious fusion of Eastern aesthetics and interactive storytelling shapes the experience when the title arrives later this year.
