Team17 and Expression Games Reveal Hell Let Loose: Vietnam, Launching 2026

The acclaimed creators behind Hell Let Loose unveil their next project: Vietnam, transporting the franchise’s tactical 50v50 warfare to the unforgiving jungles of Southeast Asia. Developed by Expression Games and published by Team17, this standalone title reshapes large-scale combat within a conflict notorious for its guerrilla tactics and fluid battle lines.

Revealed during the Future Games Show, Vietnam is slated for a 2026 release on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Core mechanics emphasizing squad coordination remain central—victory demands more than individual skill, requiring seamless teamwork and strategic communication across dense terrain.

Spanning key years of the Vietnam War (1965–1973), the game immerses players in six sprawling maps featuring new combat roles. Aerial insertion via helicopters and riverine warfare with patrol boats expand tactical options, while North Vietnamese forces gain unique abilities to construct underground tunnel networks. These systems force both sides to adapt to asymmetrical warfare, blending traditional frontline combat with ambushes and hit-and-run tactics.

Despite shifting focus to this new theater, Expression Games confirms continuous updates for the original Hell Let Loose, ensuring parallel support for existing and upcoming titles.
