Morsels: Creature-Collecting Roguelike from Toronto’s Furcula Launches in November

Furcula and Annapurna Interactive revealed today that their quirky creature-collection roguelite, Morsels, will launch November 18, 2025. The top-down hybrid of procedural challenges and monster-taming action was initially teased during Nintendo’s Indie World event last August and is slated for PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Switch.

Designed by newcomer studio Furcula—a Toronto trio combining Toby Dixon’s art, Sam Webster’s compositions, and Iggy Zuk’s programming—the game follows a scavenging mouse protagonist. After encountering a mystical entity dubbed a fatberg in the sewers, players gain shape-shifting abilities to toggle between eclectic creatures called Morsels, each offering distinct combat tactics.

Previewed during June 2025’s Steam Next Fest, Morsels stood out as a festival highlight. One hands-on impression noted: “This bizarre, mechanically rich roguelite merges addictive creature-swapping with tense combat. If you try one demo this season, let this be it—the full release can’t come soon enough.

With its confirmed holiday-season debut, interested players can still experience the free Steam demo, offering a taste of its chaotic creature-based gameplay loop ahead of the full launch.
