Capcom’s 90-Minute NYCC Panel Showcases New & Upcoming Releases

Capcom has announced a 90-minute presentation at New York Comic Con in October 2025, highlighting “current and future projects” from its lineup. This event follows its appearance at Gamescom, where Resident Evil Requiem is set to debut.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the session will occur on Friday, October 10, at 3:45 PM ET on the convention’s primary stage. While specifics remain unconfirmed, fans speculate that the focus will be on Requiem ahead of its 2026 launch, as well as updates on Resident Evil Survival Unit, a mobile title revealed earlier this year.

Anticipation also surrounds Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection, slated for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC in 2026. Capcom may share gameplay footage or release windows for this RPG sequel.

Another area of interest is the Devil May Cry franchise, which saw its last mainline entry in 2019. Despite its age, Devil May Cry 5 remains a top seller, fueling hopes for a new installment. However, major reveals like this might be reserved for events like The Game Awards in December, given NYCC’s historical emphasis on comics and media over gaming.

With a lengthy schedule to fill, the showcase’s success hinges on fresh updates rather than rehashing existing titles. Fans await surprises, though expectations remain cautiously optimistic given the event’s typical scope.
